There may be occasions when remote learning needs to be implemented- this could be in response to adverse weather conditions, other safety reasons or on advice from the Local Authority, Trust or Government.

Remote education will be used when pupils cannot receive in-person education, either due to school closures or restrictions on attendance, or in individual cases where a pupil is unable to attend school but is able to learn.

During periods of school closure, there will be a multi-faceted approach in order to best support
pupils in remote learning. Learning provision will be tailored to respond to the specific 
circumstances for each closure but will always prioritise maintaining consistency whilst minimising 
the disruption to pupils learning.
